About Me

My name is Elaine and I consider myself a "by chance" gourmet. I read cookbooks more often than real books, consider my recipe collection one of three items I'd grab if my house were on fire and would happily food shop over shoe shop any day. I try and cook new, flavorful, fun recipes as often as I can and share my recipes with my fellow "foodie" friends!

Boyfriend doesn't cook (but he's coming around!), so he serves as my official taste tester. You'll see his ratings throughout the blog. (1 is the lowest, 10 is the highest.) One time I got an 11. Not kidding!
